Abstract

The OECD predicts that approximately 60 % of jobs in the Slovak Republic (further than “SR”) will be threatened by automation. This data is also confirmed by other foreign studies, which classify place the SR among the countries with the highest share of endangered jobs. However, jobs with a low risk of automation, which should not be replaced by technology in the next few years, are a little explored area. The present article aims to identify a list of skills that can be currently and in the future hardly replaced by machines, linked them with specific jobs in the SR and thus to quantify the share of jobs at low risk of automation in the upcoming years.
