Abstract

The study analyses and assesses different aspects of inclusion of the demographic development into the analytical and planning documents of economic and social development, using the examples of large rural municipalities with more than 2000 inhabitants, situated in Trnava and Nitra self-governing regions. An evaluation system has been established, on the basis of which the quality of the demographic part in this important planning document was assessed. Various attributes from the formal requirements, level of annexes, text readability, explanation of facts, the quality and the scope of prognosis as well as the proposed measures have been assessed.
