Abstract
The paper aims at the impact of demographic events of enterprises, such as their birth and death, on employment in active enterprises in the regions of the Slovak Republic from the years 2008 to 2018, while this impact is monitored through the employment balance in active enterprises caused by birth and death of enterprises. The aim of the paper is to reveal the net impact of three factors: year, section of economic activities and region on the share of employment balance in active enterprises. For this purpose, a general linear model and the associated analysis of marginal means and contrast analysis are used. The presented analyses are based on the Demography of enterprises 2008-2018 databases, provided to us by the Statistical Office of the SR for research purposes.
