Abstract

On a competitive insurance market there is an increasing importance of correctness of actuarial calculations where high-quality and even more difficult methods have been used. The practical actuarial calculations, especially the premium calculation in life and pension insurance, require the knowledge of mortality models for homogeneous tariff groups of insured persons. The aim of this paper is to the present mortality models, obtained by statistical data analysis published on the website of NBS (National Bank of Slovakia) on the number of insured persons and on the number of claims in the risk of death by gender and by age based on the “Decree No. 20/2008” of November 4, 2008.
