Abstract

The paper describes the key starting points, implemented activities and the timetable for the preparation of censuses around 2020. A particular emphasis is given on the world, Europe and Slovakia itself. The active participation of the representatives of the Statistical Office of the SR in the work of the Working Groups, regular monitoring of outcomes and their implementation can help to produce census data for both the international and national purposes.
