Abstract
The entry into reproduction significantly affects the intensity of fertility, but it also has a number of other impacts, e.g. on the health of mothers and children, the stability and standard of living of families. From a demographic perspective, the birth of the first child is considered to be the entry into reproduction. The article evaluates the entry into reproduction at the international, national and regional level through the mean age of women at first birth.
