Abstract

The main aim of the paper is to analyze some aspects of fertility, abortion and completed pregnancies in Slovakia in connection with the highest completed education of women. We focus on the intensity of these processes, their age distribution, the structure by legitimacy, the number of births, and the structure of completed pregnancies. The goal is not only to identify the differences between educational groups, but also to point out the possible developmental changes in procreative behavior.
