Abstract

The main objective of the article is to present one of the possible methods of data collection without their direct collection from selected units by the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic calculate indicators of expenditures and income of private households in the 2013 Household Budget Survey. This method is the simulation of microdata, in which the estimation of the data in new period is based on actual observed data from previous periods and relevant external resources. On selected examples are shown possible problems of selected method – deviation of simulation and real acquired data.
