Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to present the character of the population reproduction in Slovakia during World War II. In this first part we will focus on the possibilities of demographic analysis in connection with the available data and attention will be paid to the processes of marriage and divorce. In addition, we will also look at the overall social conditions of reproduction in conjunction with the proclaimed and realized population policy.
