Abstract

The highest educational attainment is one of the most important differentiation factors for reproductive behavior in postmodern societies.The main aim of this paper is to analyze the development of cohort fertility and the structure of women by the number of children born in Slovakia in relation to their educational attainment. In addition, we will also focus on the development and differentiation of the cohort parity progression ratios according to the education of women.
