Abstract

Commuting to work is one of the basic types of spatial movement of the population. The goal of the contribution is to show the specific characteristics of persons using bicycle or scooter for this purpose according to the 2021 Population and Housing Census results. The focal point of the study is the evaluation of the spatial distribution of cycling and scootering on the level of districts of Slovakia with particular attention given to the distance covered by the use of these means of transport.
