Abstract

The aim of the contribution is to analyze the basic demographic data on the characteristics of the population, obtained from population and housing censuses. The basic structures of the population are sex and age, which explain the population dynamics the most. The second group of structures that will be presented in the paper are the population structures relating to social and educational status. For the identification of trends, the data from the 2021 Census were compared with the data from the 2011 and 2001 Censuses.
