Abstract

The main aim of this paper is to analyze the fertility in the Slovak Republic based on the 2011 Population and Housing Census results. We analyse the development of cohort fertility of women born between 1930-1970 in connection with changes in their parity structure. Special attention is paid to the differential cohort fertility analysis according to marital status, educational attainment, economic activity, ethnicity and religion of Slovak women.
