Abstract

One of five main goals of European Union is to reduce number of Europeans at
poverty and social exclusion under 25 % up to 2020, what means nearly 20 million of citizens. In article we describe development of poverty and social exclusion in Slovakia and at EU from 2008 to 2012 years.
