Abstract
The global energy crisis represents one of the most urgent challenges of the 21st century. The power systems are in some regions obsolete and the aging infrastructure is facing global climate change. As a result, vulnerability is regarded as a potential threat to economies. In this context, the recent large-scale blackouts occurring in Europe, including the blackout in Spain and Portugal on 28 April 2025 or in Prague on 4 July 2025, emerge not only as a technological concern but also as a concern regarding continuity in achieving ambitious goals which may require shift in energy paradigms. The e-commerce logistics market in Europe has undergone a trans¬formative shift recently. This has been driven by the growth of online shopping and evolving consumer expectations. E-commerce businesses across Europe continue to strive to meet the increasing demands and delivery expectations. This paper focus on the analysis of the net electricity productivity, the rising demand for electricity and the unstable market situation which may be greatly impacted by electricity outages in the recent digital era.
