Abstract<\/h5>\n

The epidemiological situation due to the emergence and spread of the Covid-19 pandemic has so far been cyclical. At the beginning of 2022, the fourth wave of the pandemic was recorded and we will possibly see other waves as well. The effective management of the fight against coronavirus contributes significantly to the relatively adequate functioning of Slovak society even in times of pandemic. Its important part of management is also the selection and use of appropriate indicators to monitor and evaluate the epidemiological situation.<\/p>\n
