It has a specific position in relation to length and generosity of parental leave, availability of pre-school facilities, spending\u2019s level and structure. At the same time, it holds true also for outputs and outcomes of family policy. The article focuses on the identification of the position of the Slovak family policy in relation to the family policies in other EU countries using hierarchical cluster analysis. The macro-level analysis is realized using comparable aggregated data from the comparable Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) database and the Eurostat.
